Coming from a military family, I have had the opportunity twice to live in South Carolina. The first time, I was fourteen and my dad was in the Navy. We were pretty poor so we rearly traveled anywhere. The second time, I was in the Air Force and still pretty poor but my husband and I did get around a little bit because travel has always been a priority for us. One of our favorite places was the Outer Banks. If you want to go somewhere where there is a great variety of things to see, be sure to put the Carolinas (North and South) on your itinerary.
