Today though there are alternatives to using your credit card and my favorite is Ebillme. It is a nice simple service that does not require you to put in any credit card information. It is sort of a backdoor approach that puts a buffer in between your information and your payment to a merchant. It is also very simple to use. How does it work? Well, go to your favorite merchant (my favorite is Tiger Direct) and make your purchase. When you get to your checkout, select Ebillme. You go to your bank and input Ebillme into your bank account’s bill pay and then the payment is taken directly from your bank. You just pay it like you would your other bills.
