For years, Christmas meant new toys and a lot of batteries. Each year that passed seemed to require even more batteries. However, the trend I see now, is memory. Everything you buy today needs memory cards. I am not really complaining because I love all these gadgets, but the problem is that memory can be very expensive and right now I am still buying a ton of batteries. I do see that changing in the future. Several of the things I've purchased have rechargable batteries inside. You simply plug in to the wall to charge or into your USB port on your computer. I like that.
