Good grief, I think some places have lost their minds. I am here on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and New Orleans is about an hour and a half drive from here. Well, today I was told that I need to go to New Orleans for a couple of days from my job. I got my travel authorization and started calling hotels to make a reservation. I could not believe the prices they were asking per night and to top it off they charge anywhere from $18 to $30 a day to park at the hotel! What do they think they are....a New York City hotel? The least they could do is let you park for free.
