Why is getting disability so hard?

I think it is so unfair that is so difficult for a person to get disability. You work your whole life and when your health fails, you have to fight for what you have coming. I just read a few articles about how people are routinely denied Social Security Disability even though the doctors, including specialist have documented everything for the patient. I think its sad, but the reality is that if you need to get disability, you need to find someone to help you such as a lawyer or advocate.

What surprised me even more was that even for those who carry disability insurance, they need professional assistance at times to get their benefit. I did a search and was surprised to see how many businesses are out there to help people. One that I looked at, Allsup had a 98% success rate with the SSDI system. That's an awesome track record and worth looking at
