When we finished with the construction of our house, we decided that we did not want a formal living room. So, we decided that putting a baby grand piano in the room would make a very distinct statement. I shopped forever, but found a good deal and bought it.

Now, i feel extremely compelled to learn to play it. I wanted to learn to Read Music and/or Sight Reading, but I'm an older person and I really don't want to hire someone to teach me how to play. A friend told me I should look around on the internet and see if I could find any free online lessons. I thought that sounded like a great idea. With one search I found so many places that offer free lessons and some that even offer Free Sheet Music, which is a great thing, because since I have started trying to learn, I have found out just how expensive sheet music is.

There is a place called yokewong.net which is an awesome website. You can learn to play piano there and get free sheet music.
