My couch has been with me for about ten years. It is actually in really good condition, but I am just sick of looking at it. I never really liked the idea of slipcovers but my sister said they really make nice ones these days that look really good. She said the ones she has stay in place perfectly and she does not have to smooth it out or anything after sitting on it. I may have to go out looking at some just to see what's available.
