When I was young I was so into things like tupperware parties, bachelorette parties, showes, etc. However, by the time I was looking at forty, I had lost complete interest. I began finding excuses and sending a little gift. By fifty, I was even sick of doing that beause I figure that all of these people know that I am not into this stuff and then send an invitation anyway, looiking for a gift...which I guess is okay but I'm done with it. In fact, I received two birth announcements today and I simply three them away.....do I sound mean? Sorry, but I am feeling used....these people never call or visit and I haven't spoken to them in years...
