I just received the most incredible product to review. It's the Gruene Steam Cleaner/Mop. Seriously, I have seen these types of products like the shark steam cleaner advertised before and I thought they looked pretty lame. HOWEVER, this product has changed my way of thinking and doing things, probably forever!
When I received this steam cleaner to use and review, the first thing positive I could say was that it only took about three minutes to assemble. It is extremely light weight compared to other steam cleaners I have seen. My only concern was the size of the water reservoir. It seemed pretty small.
Once it was assembled I thought the first thing I would do is use it's steam mop function. I filled it up and turned it on. Instantly, when I pulled the trigger it had a lot of steam. Then I went from room to room mopping the floors. The steam seemed powerful and the floor was looking good. It dried very fast. By the time I would go six feet, the six foot stretch in front of me was already dry. I literally cleaned about 1500 square foot of floor tile and the reservoir was still half full! So this machine is very efficient and the water reservoir is very sufficient.
After seeing how well it worked on the floor, I was anxious to try out it's other functions. To make it a portable unit is a snap. Literally, push the one button and the unit pops out. Then you can attach one of the many attachments thats comes with it. My brother came in while I was testing this and he suggested that we take it outside and steam clean part of his engine. So, we put the angled steam attachment on and gave it a shot. Wow! When you put on the attachments other than the floor ones, the power is amazing! It did an awesome job cleaning the exposed parts of his car engine.
If I were to rate this with numbers such as on a one to ten scale, I would give this a ten. Since my initial testing, I now probably have the cleanest house around because I have used it on everything! I put together a little video to show you this great Gruene Steam Cleaner. Check it out!
